A BILL

To amend the Countering Russian Influence in Europe and Eurasia Act of 2017 to require the President to submit to the Congress a national strategy for combating the financing of terrorism and related forms of illicit finance, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ``National Risk Assessments Extension Act''.

SEC. 2. UPDATES TO THE NATIONAL STRATEGY FOR COMBATING TERRORIST AND OTHER ILLICIT FINANCING.

The Countering Russian Influence in Europe and Eurasia Act of 2017 (title II of Public Law 115-44) is amended-- (1) in section 261(b)(2)-- (A) by striking ``2024'' and inserting ``2028''; and (B) by striking ``2026'' and inserting ``2030''; and (2) in section 262(1), by striking ``in the documents entitled `2020 National Strategy for Combating Terrorist and Other Illicit Financing' and `2022 National Strategy for Combating Terrorist and Other Illicit Financing''' and inserting ``in the documents entitled `2026 National Money Laundering Risk Assessment', `2026 National Terrorist Financing Risk Assessment', and `2026 National Proliferation Financing Risk Assessment'''. <all>
