Ms. Pettersen (for herself and Mr. Williams of Texas) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and in addition to the Committees on Financial Services, the Judiciary, Oversight and Government Reform, Intelligence (Permanent Select), and Armed Services, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned

A BILL

To amend the Fentanyl Sanctions Act to authorize such Act through December 31, 2033, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ``Fentanyl Sanctions Reauthorization Act of 2026''.

SEC. 2. EXTENSION OF FENTANYL SANCTIONS ACT.

Section 7234 of the Fentanyl Sanctions Act (21 U.S.C. 2334) is amended by striking ``the date that is 7 years after the date of the enactment of this Act'' and inserting ``December 31, 2033''. <all>
