A BILL
To amend the Safe Drinking Water Act to reauthorize the drinking water fountain replacement for schools grant program, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Safe Water for Schools Act of 2026''.
SEC. 2. DRINKING WATER FOUNTAIN REPLACEMENT FOR SCHOOLS.
Section 1465(d) of the Safe Drinking Water Act (42 U.S.C. 300j-25) is amended by striking ``$5,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2019 through 2021'' and inserting ``$7,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2027 through 2029''. <all>
