A BILL
To amend the National Security Act of 1947 to provide the Office of the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community with law enforcement authority, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Intelligence Community Inspector General Parity Act of 2026''.
SEC. 2. LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY.
(a) In General.--Section 103H of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 3033) is amended by adding at the end the following: ``(p) Law Enforcement Authority.--The provisions of section 406(f) of title 5, United States Code, shall apply with respect to the Office of the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community.''. (b) Conforming Amendment.--Section 406(f)(3) of title 5, United States Code, is amended by inserting ``the Office of the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community,'' before ``and the Tennessee Valley Authority''. <all>
